The Look of Botox

To the Editor: Botox is truly a miracle drug. In a few minutes, and with minimal discomfort, 5, 10 or more years can miraculously vanish from your face. The Cases column "A Peril of the Veil of Botox" enlightens us to the risk of over treatment.

"The Stepford Wives" (or Stepford Husbands), with their expressionless faces, would make strange bedfellows and parents indeed. As with all things, moderation is the key.

Experience and an aesthetic sense are needed for the proper administration of Botox. If too little Botox is administered one can always add more. If too much is given, the Stepford Wife will, in a few months, return to your faithful and expressionful companion.
